One of California's earliest wine estates, Stags' Leap Estate has been making wine since 1893. With the exception of Prohibition and war, wine production has gone uninterrupted since its founding.
Christophe Paubert started with Stags' Leap in 2009, after working in Bordeaux, France at Gruaud Larose in St Julien and at Chat. d'Yquem, in Sauternes, where he grew up. He also spent time in Chile, Spain & Washington State, before he was drawn to California.
We are very happy to have Christophe with us for this event. He will not only guide us through the line-up of wines but we'll hear what exciting things to expect from Stags' Leap in the future.
We'll also have an assortment of artisan cheeses personally selected by our Cave, to enhance the enjoyment of the wines.
